Accomodation + Travel
ManMUN does not provide an accommodation package as part of the conference. We would recommend finding a hotel or a hostel somewhere in the City Centre, or as close to the University of Manchester as possible.
Please use the Visit Manchester website to find a place to stay suited to both your needs and price range. A selection of places recommended by ManMUN will be published soon.

Getting to manchester
TRAVEL BY AIR
Manchester Airport is the largest and busiest UK airport outside of London. It is located about 10 miles (16km) south of the city centre, around 30 minutes from the university.
The airport has a number of transport links to the city:
Train - The airport's two terminals are linked directly to the city centre by a fast, frequent 24 hour train link to both Piccadilly and Oxford Road stations.
Taxi - A taxi from the airport to the University will cost approximately £15.
Bus – The 43 and 44 services run to the Oxford Road and Sackville Street areas of campus.
Most major airlines fly to and from Manchester. For more information please visit : Manchester Airport website
Liverpool John Lennon Airport
Liverpool John Lennon Airport is also located close to Manchester and provides additional connections with low-cost airlines. A Terravision shuttle bus directly from the airport takes about 50 minutes to get to Manchester city centre (we recommend getting off at Sackville Street stop).
TRAVEL BY TRAIN
The University of Manchester is conveniently located close to both the main line Piccadilly Station and Oxford Road Railway Station, with Victoria Railway Station a little further away.
We recommend you getting a train to the Piccadilly Station if possible, due to the number of bus and tram connections.
